BOKASHI is a Japanese term meaning "fermented organic matter". It uses EM-1 (Effective Micro Organisms) to breakdown all organic material. These microbes are naturally occurring throughout the world. There are good and bad microbes all around us. Our goal is to outnumber the harmful bacteria with good bacteria, creating a healthier environment for all living things. Compost all food waste; cooked and uncooked, meat, fish, citrus, baked goods, manure, green waste, rice, and more. Also used to deodorize garbage disposals, camp toilets, drains, trash cans, cages and pens.
