Why It’s Used
BuildASoil has conducted thousands of soil tests and found that many soils are high in iron but deficient in manganese and five other micronutrients (Boron, Cobalt, Copper, Molybdenum, Zinc). Restoring balance—especially the iron-to-manganese ratio—can increase yield and improve disease resistance
Application Rates

Seed activation: Vegetable seeds soak 72h at 0.5g/gal; other seeds 24h at same ratio

Soil/Container plants: 0.75–1.25g/gal irrigation solution

Hydroponic: 0.5–0.75g/gal nutrient reservoir (use with every change; top-offs at ¼–½ normal rate)

Foliar: 0.75g/gal every 7–10 days

Field use: 2–4 lb/acre every 3–6 weeks

Pre-plant conditioning/bioremediation: 5–10 lb/acre
Making a Concentrated Liquid Solution

Add 300g of BIG 6 to 1 gallon of hot water (~110°F), agitate.

Let settle for 1 hour.

Apply at slightly less than ½ oz/gal water.
- ~15% is insoluble—can be composted or added to garden

Store dry, away from excessive heat.

Avoid exceeding recommended rates to prevent irregular growth
Tip: If you’ve been using TM-7, consider switching to BIG 6 to reduce iron and increase manganese for better micronutrient balance
