Monterey Complete Disease Control is a broad‑spectrum, OMRI‑listed biofungicide/bactericide containing Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain D747 (98.85%) used to prevent and suppress fungal and bacterial diseases on vegetables, fruits, ornamentals, lawns, and houseplants.

What It Is

  • A preventative biofungicide/bactericide for home gardens, landscapes, and greenhouses.
  • Active ingredient: Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain D747 (minimum 1×10¹⁰ CFU/mL). 
  • OMRI‑listed for organic gardening. 

How It Works

  • As a foliar spray, it suppresses pathogenic spores on leaves, flowers, and fruit.
  • As a soil drench, it colonizes root hairs, preventing establishment of soilborne fungi and bacteria. 

Common diseases controlled include:

  • Powdery mildew
  • Leaf spots (Alternaria, Cercospora, Septoria, etc.)
  • Anthracnose
  • Gray mold / Botrytis blight
  • Black spot of roses
  • Bacterial leaf blights, spots, specks (Erwinia, Pseudomonas, Xanthomonas)
  • Fruit rots

    Diseases suppressed include downy mildew, early blight, late blight, fire blight, and scab. 

Application Instructions

Foliar Spray

  • Mix 1 teaspoon per gallon of water.
  • Spray to wet all leaves and stems with minimal runoff.
  • Repeat every 7–10 days; increase to 1 tablespoon per gallon and spray every 3–7 days in high‑humidity or rapid‑disease conditions. 

Soil Drench

  • Apply mixed solution to the root zone for root, tuber, or soil‑contact diseases. 

Pre‑Harvest Interval

  • 0‑day PHI — safe to use up to the day of harvest. 

Safety & Environmental Notes

  • Avoid eye/skin contact; prolonged skin exposure may cause allergic reactions.
  • Do not inhale spray mist.
  • Prevent runoff into storm drains or waterways.
